	VAN - A military operation was launched in areas declared as “special security zones” in rural areas of Şax (Çatak) district of Van.&nbsp;

	Van Governorate announced that “Kat Mountain, Kervanyayla, Tayanyayla, Karataş Pits, Köpekçayırı, Bear Creek, Belbuka, Deri Tepe, Siyahtaş Tepe, Elma Tepe, Kesilmez Tepe, Tarın Tepe, Musa Mountain, Çelik Tepe, Aşiret Tepe, Kızılkaya Tepe” in the countryside of Şax (Çatak) district of Van were declared as “temporary special security zones”. Entry and exit to these areas were banned until October 9. It is learned that a military operation was launched in the region following the ban.
