
Residents of 4 cities in Jazera Canton head to Tishreen Dam

	NEWS CENTRE - Hundreds of people in the Qamishlo, Tirbespiye, Amuda, and Tal Hamis in Jazera Canton set out to join the resistance watch at Tişrîn Dam.

	The attacks of Turkey and the Syrian National Army (SNA) against North and East Syria continue. Since 8 December 2024, attacks on Tishreen Dam and its surroundings have been continuing from both air and land. The people of North and East Syria, who shield their bodies against the attacks, have been holding a vigil at the dam since 8 January.

	According to Hawar News Agency (ANHA) different groups are taking over the vigil. Today, hundreds of people in Qamishlo, Tirbespiye, Amuda, and Tal Hamis in Jazera Canton set out to join the resistance vigil at Tishreen Dam. Citizens travelling with a convoy including many different people and segments from 7 to 70 will take over the vigil at the dam.
