Women celebrated 4 April in Çiyayê Reş

	WAN - Women celebrated Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's 76th birthday on Çiyayê Reş Mountain.

	Women in Van (Wan) celebrated the 76th birthday of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan under the leadership of the Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA). Women gathered at Çiyayê Reş Mountain (Erek Mountain) in İpekyolu district in the early hours of the morning and celebrated 4 April around the fire they lit. Women who participated in the celebration wearing local dresses often chanted "Bijî Serok Apo (Long live Leader Apo)", "Rojbûna te pîroz ey Serok Apo (Happy birthday Leader Apo)" and "Bê Serok jiyan nabe (Without Leader there is no life)". During the celebration, women carried banners with Abdullah Öcalan's photographs and danced halay around the fire they lit for a long time.

	 

	The women cut a cake with the words "Rojbûna te pîroz (" written on it and after planting saplings, they ended the celebration with cheers and applause.
