	ANKARA – The antibiotic treatment causing Journalist Huseyin Aykol’s blood values to deteriorate has been halted. Aykol remains in intensive care unit.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Journalist Hüseyin Aykol is still undergoing treatment at Sincan Training and Research Hospital after suffering a brain haemorrhage at his home in Ankara on 14 October. Following two operations, Aykol was admitted to the intensive care unit due to an infection in his lungs. In addition to the infection, Aykol’s blood values had also deteriorated.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	It was reported that the deterioration was determined to be caused by antibiotics, and the antibiotics were discontinued.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Aykol's life remains at risk.
