Mehmet Zeki Çelebi, who was attacked by the National Intelligence Organisation (MIT) and KDP on Bextiyari Street in Sulaymaniyah last night, died at the hospital. Çelebi, who was taken to Süleymaniye Şar Hospital after the attack by two people on motorcycle, could not be saved despite all efforts.
Çelebi, who settled in the Federated Kurdistan Region 12 years ago for political reasons, was killed as a result of the attacks of MIT and KDP.
Dozens are waiting at the Süleymaniye Forensic Medicine Institute to receive Çelebi's remains.
