MERSIN - 10 members of Dilşah Ercan's family, whom Interior Minister Soylu alleges carried out the action against Polievi in Mezitli, have been detained for 3 days.

 

A policeman lost his life and many were injured in the bomb and gun attack on Tece Polisevi, located in Deniz Mahallesi of Mersin's Mezitli district, on September 26. Following the attack, Dilşah Ercan's family home in Mersin, which Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu claimed to have carried out, was raided. In the raid, 10 people, including Ercan's father, mother, 3 older brothers, 3 older sisters and their spouses, were detained.

 

Family members, who have been held in Mersin Police Department since September 27, were brought to the prosecutor's office today. In the statement of family members, they asked, “Where was your daughter?” and "When was the last time you talked".

 

22 people, including family members, are being held in Mersin Police Department.

 

BACKGROUND

 

In the bombing and armed attack on Tece Police House, a policeman lost his life and many others were injured. After the attack, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu claimed that the action was carried out by Dilşah Ercan. Soylu claimed that Ercan lost his life and one person was taken into custody.
