MARAŞ - HDP's Silopi Municipality also established a soup kitchen in Narlı. In the soup kitchen, 3 thousand people are given 2 meals a day.

 

HDP's Silopi Municipality established a soup kitchen in the town of Narlı after the Pazarcık district of Mereş. The soup kitchen serving 3,000 people in the region serves two meals a day to the citizens. Silopiya Municipality personnel and 7 volunteers also provide service to earthquake victims.

 

Deniz Aytaç, one of the masters assigned by the municipality, stated that they will continue to serve the victims of the earthquake as long as they can. Stating that the importance of HDP municipalities has been revealed, Aytaç condemned the trustees appointed to the municipalities and said: "If trustees were not appointed to the municipalities, they would have sent their construction equipment and personnel to the earthquake area on the first day. Search and rescue efforts would accelerate and so many people would not lose their lives."
