NEWS CENTER- SDF made a statement regarding Turkey's attacks and stated that its forces are determined to protect the region and its components and to build a security zone.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) General Command made a statement regarding Turkey's attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria.

The statement stated that Turkey has increased its inhumane attacks on the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria, especially in the Shehba region, where immigrants from Afrin have settled, and the regions of Manbij, Eyn Îsa and Cizre, and the following statements were made: “As a result of direct targeting of citizens, women and children. While 3 citizens were martyred, 4 citizens were injured. Two of them were children. These attacks were planned for a long time and the appropriate time was awaited as a result of the neglect of the crimes documented by international organizations against Syrian lands, especially Northern and Eastern Syria, and their silence against the support of terrorist organizations in the invading regions.

THE AIM OF TURKEY IS TO INVADE MORE REGIONS

We do not think this attack is different from the attempts of the invaders, who are trying to divert attention from their colonial projects in Syria and its negative effects on the unity of the Syrians in the future. It wants to use all current and future agreements with international forces to keep its forces and mercenaries in Syria. This is the main purpose of these attacks. The invading Turkish state's propaganda to attack our forces is an attempt to weaken the national forces that oppose the attack plans. But now all sides of Syria should know that trying to weaken our forces is only aimed at invading other parts of Syria.”

‘WE RESIST TOGETHER WITH OUR PEOPLE AGAINST ATTACKS’

Stating that they resisted the attacks together with the people, the SDF statement said: “We salute the national consciousness of our people because the people knew very well the importance of resistance against invasion attacks. We salute the braves, sacrifices and martyrs on the front lines. The continuing attacks and crimes of the invading Turkish state will not go unpunished, and our forces will be more determined than ever to protect the region and its components and ensure a secure future.
