NEWS CENTER - Trustees were appointed to Mêrdîn Metropolitan Municipality, Êlih Municipality and Xelfetî Municipality.
The Ministry of Interior appointed trustees to Mêrdîn (Mardin) Metropolitan Municipality, which is governed by the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party). Police officers blockaded the municipality building in the morning.
Co-Mayor Ahmet Türk was informed of the trustee decision.
On the other hand, it is learned that a trustee was also appointed to Êlih (Batman) Municipality and the municipality building was blockaded.
A trustee was also appointed to Xelfetî (Halfeti) district municipality in Riha (Urfa). The municipality building was blockaded early in the morning. People are not allowed to approach the blockaded municipality building.
