Books sent to imprisoned journalists

ISTANBUL - Led by MKG and DFG, books and New Year cards were sent in solidarity with 7 imprisoned journalists.

Mezopotamya Women Journalists Association (MKG) and Dicle Fırat Journalists Association (DFG) sent books and New Year cards to 7 journalists who were arrested for participating in a press statement for journalists Cihan Bilgin and Nazım Daştan who were killed by Turkish UCAV in North and East Syria.
 
Many journalists came together to prepare for sending books, letters and cards. Journalists gathered in front of the General Directorate of Post and Telegraph Agency (PTT) in Beyoğlu, Istanbul and sent solidarity cards, letters and books to the prisons.
