ADANA - Bozan Karayılan from Adana Kürkçüler Prison told that they were beaten because they protested Helin Bölek's death.

 

It was learned that the prisoners staying in Kürkçüler F Type Closed Prison were attacked by the guards while they were protesting the death of Grup Yorum member Helin Bölek who lost her life on the 288th day of her death fast. The prisoners suffered from scars on their faces and head injuries.

 

One of the prisoner subjected to the violence of the guards, Bozan Karayılan told what happen in his weekly phone call. Karayılan, stating that the guards entered the wards and battered the prisoners. Karayılan said: "15 guards entered our ward and beat us with batons. Some of our friends suffers from head injuries and scars on their faces. I also have scars on my face."
