ŞIRNAK- Within the scope of HDP's "Fellow Family Campaign", nearly a thousand families in need have been detected and contacted in Şırnak. HDP Provincial Co-chair Sebahattin Deniz stated that “Social life means to share the truth” and emphasized that they can overcome this difficult process only by solidarity.

 

The "Fellow Family Campaign" initiated by the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) to find the families in need and meet their material needs during the  coronavirus outbreak continues to enlarge. Within the scope of the campaign, HDP Provincial Organization in Şırnak city and its districts, nearly a thousand families in need have been found. Through this solidarity network of HDP, these families will be supported with various aid in order to survive in the stay home quarantine during COVID-19 lockdowns in Turkey.

 

Sharing information on their work, HDP Şırnak Provincial Co-Chair Sebahattin Deniz said that they try to increase the solidarity with the families in financial need. Deniz stated that they tried to identify the families in need of support with their local party organizations via the neighborhood commissions and party members networks as well as the social media channels. Emphasizing that they make no discrimination at this point, Deniz said that they have detected and reached to nearly a thousand families. The solidarity campaign will continue, as the party co-chair states.
