ANKARA -Trade Union of Employees in Public Health and Social Services (SES) General Directorate Gönül Erden, Central Board members Pınar İçel and Aylin Akçay shared the survey result on personal protective equipments and measures in Turkey's national health service institutions.
Gönül Erden told, "In the 6 percent of the institutions, there is no face masks. The measures taken through the social services are inadequate and workers are overwhelmed with work overload."
Erden shared the information that SES Union's survey included 115 social services institutions located in 30 cities of Turkey.
Erden shared the following survey results regarding PPE and coronavirus measures in health institutions in Turkey: "Only 58 percent of the health institutions have enough number of masks as 6 percent has none. And for the lack of PPE, almost all institutions in the survey has lack in such a level that they have almost no protective equipment at all. Only 77 percent of the health institutions have disinfectants, 9 percent of them has none."
