NEWS CENTER - Turkey cut water supplies in Hesekê for the 6th time at a time where the coronavirus pandemic poses lives at risk.
The water of Hesekê is supplied from the Elok station in Serêkaniyê, which is under the occupation of the Turkish state. The station provides water to Hol, Washokani and Erisha camps, as well as Til Temir district and the city of Hesekê.
Hesekê Water Directorate officials reached by ANHA said that the Turkish state has not given permission to Elok station employees for 10 days. No information was available as to why the water was cut off.
