ANKARA - Drawing attention to the attack in Parliament, Saadet Party Chair Temel Karamollaoğlu said: “Unfortunately, it is a summary of today's Turkey. I condemn this understanding.”

Saadet Party Chair Temel Karamollaoğlu reacted to the attack on Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Group Deputy Chair Gülüstan Kılıç Koçyiğit and Ahmet Şık on virtual media.

Karamollaoğlu argued that the people expect solutions from the Parliament and said: “The blood spilled in the Parliament has cast a shadow on the national will and has passed as a black stain on the democracy culture of our country. There is no explanation for those who should set an example to the nation with their ideas and proposals to resort to violence under the roof of the parliament. Turning the Turkish Grand National Assembly into a place where there is no law, no culture of democracy and no common sense is unfortunately a summary of today's Turkey. I condemn this understanding.”
