'Turkey's most untrustworthy' institutions: Political parties and Religious Affairs

NEWS CENTER - According to the Institute for Social Studies' “Social Dispositions” field survey, Diractorate of Religious Affairs and political parties are the “two most untrustworthy institutions in Turkey”.

The Institute for Social Studies conducted a “Social Dispositions” survey with 1,514 people between September 19-22. Political parties, Diractorate of Religious Affairs, the judiciary and the government ranked high in the survey, which examined the “most untrustworthy” institutions. According to BirGün, the survey also included the question “Can you name the two institutions in Turkey that you do not trust the most?”. With a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percent, the survey yielded the following results
 
* Political parties: 25.1 percent
 
* Directorate of Religious Affairs: 18.8 percent
 
After political parties and Religious Affairs, some other institutions were marked as “One of the two institutions you do not trust the most” as follows
 
* Judicial institutions: 18.4 percent
 
* Government: 14.3 percent
 
* TURKSTAT: 8.7 percent
 
* Opposition: 7.2 percent
 
* Assembly: 4.9 percent
 
* RTÜK: 2.1 percent
