A military operation has been going on in the countryside of Lice district of Diyarbakır for three days. According to statements made by official sources, two HPG members were killed in the operation.Local sources made a striking claim about the operation. It was stated that a HPG member was caught alive in the operation, but there is no information about what happened to him. This claim of local sources also strengthens the photos shared on the social media accounts regarding the operation.
FIRST STATEMENT FROM SOYLU
The previous day, the Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu and the Ministry of Internal Affairs made a statement about the operation. Soylu, in his post on his Twitter account, stated that two HPG members, one of whom was in the "orange category", died.
In the statement made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was noted that two HPG members lost their lives and the identity of one of the HPG members who lost their lives was Abdulsıttar Özer (Dara Zagros) in the operation organized by the special operations units in the Arıklı District of Diyarbakır's Lice district.
ONE VIDEO TWO PHOTOS
A day after these statements, a video and two photos of the operation were posted on a social media account yesterday. The video shows soldiers insulting and kicking the lifeless body of an HPG member carried in a blanket.
ÖZER IS HANDUCFFED IN THE PHOTO
It is seen that one of the two photos shared on social media account belongs to the HPG member, whose dead body was carried in the video and whose name was not disclosed. It was stated that the other photo belongs to Abdulsıttar Özer, whose name was disclosed after he died. According to the information we obtained from local sources, one of the two HPG members died during the operation, the other was caught alive. It was noted that Özer, who was said to be "caught alive" by local sources, was the person laid on the ground naked while he was handcuffed from behind with plastic handcuffs.
WAS HE EXECUTED?
The photo, which was served after the Ministry announced that he had lost his life, brought to mind the question of whether Özer was executed after he was caught alive. Local sources, who were sure that Özer was caught alive, later stated that they did not have any information about what happened to Özer.
