URFA - Demanding justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse with a sit, the Şenyaşar Family said: "Those who persecute us will all be punished. No one will get away with persecution."
The sit in Şenyaşar family refers to as the 'Justice Watch' started by Emine Şenyaşar who lost her husband and two sons in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız and Ferit Şenyaşar who survived the attack wounded is on its 163rd day today. Şenyaşar family spoke to Fadıl Şenyaşar who is being held in solitary confinement for more than three years on the phone.
Speaking about the sit in, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "Our struggle for justice continues on its 163rd day. Three people from our family were killed in a state hospital. No law suit was filed against them. No one was arrested. They are walking free in Suruç."
'THE WHOLE WORLD WATCHED THE INJUSTICE'
Stating that the Urfa Chief Public Prosecutor and the Urfa police are complicit in the murders becuase they are not doing their duty, Şenyaşar said: "The whole world watched this injustice. Recently a racist attack was carried out in Konya and the perpetrators were caught. Even though there is a warrant for the arrest of the person who attacked us in our workplace, he is not being detained or arrested. We don't accept this persecution. What my brother Fadıl had to do was self-defense and he is in prison for three years now."
'DON'T REMAIN SILENT'
Şenyaşar family shared the following on Twitter, "Our sit in in front of Urfa Court House continues on its 163rd . Don't remain silent in the face of this injustice. Three people were murdered in a state hospital and no one was arrested. Is there a bigger sin than injustice?"
