SIRNAK- Nazife Miroğlu, mother of 7-year-old Mihrac Miroğlu, who died as a result of being hit by an armored vehicle in İdil said: "They have no right to drive those armoured vehicles that fast in the streets. They hurt us everytime."
Nazife Miroğlu, mother of 7-year-old Mihrac Miroğlu, who lost his life as a result of being hit by an armored vehicle yesterday in the İdil district of Şırnak, spoke to the Mezopotamya Agency (MA).
Mother Miroğlu, who stated that she ran down when she heard her neighbors screaming, said: "They told me an armoured vehicle ran over my son. The scene was blockaded by the police when I got there. I couldn't see my son. I was taken to hospital before I could ask who did this to my child. They didn't show me my son there either."
Criticizing the armoured vehicles speeding in the streets and police using the vehicles as a weapon, Miroğlu said: "They can't drive that fast. They can't run kids over. "They have no right to drive those armoured vehicles that fast in the streets. They hurt us everytime."
'I COULDN'T ASK THEM WHY THEY DID THAT'
Stating that all she could see when she got to the scene was more armoured vehicles blocking the scene, Miroğlu said: "I couldn't ask those police officers why they did that to my child. I wish I could."
