URFA - The struggle for justice of Emine Şenyaşar who has been demanding justice for her murdered husband and two sons for 185 days turned against her. A law suit was filed against Emine Şenyaşar while the killers of her family walk free on grounds of insulting AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, the perpetrator of the murders.

A lawsuit has been filed against Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attacks carried out by AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives, which started at their workplace on 14 June 2018 and continued in Suruç State Hospital. Urfa Courthouse, which has not yet been able to turn the investigation into a lawsuit regarding the murders in the state hospital where 3 people were killed, has filed a law suit against Emine Şenyaşar on grounds that she insulted Yıldız while she was wailing in front of the Urfa Court House. In the procedural memorandum of the case filed at the Urfa 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance, it was alleged that Emine Şenyaşar had "insulted a public official" based on the words she said on the 86th day of the Justice Watch.

REQUEST OF PRISON SENTENCE UP TO 4 YEARS

In the indictment, which was prepared upon the completion of the investigation initiated by the Urfa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız took place as the complainant. In the indictment, it was requested that Emine Şenyaşar be sentenced to up to 4 years in prison.

The indictment, which alleged that Emine Şenyaşar committed the crime of "insulting a public official due to her duty", was accepted by the Urfa Criminal Court of First Instance. The first hearing of the case will be held on November 12.

CONFIDENTIALITY ORDER ON THE FILE FOR 3 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS

Mother Emine Şenyaşar was detained on the same charge on March 15, 2021, the 7th day of the Justice Watch, and was released after her statement was taken. While a lawsuit was filed against Şenyaşar for her words, the investigation against the perpetrators, which has a confidentiality order on it, continues for 3 years and 3 months.
