Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by the AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives on 14 June 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, are continuing the sit in in front of the Urfa Courthouse. The sit in, launched on March 9, is on its 296th day. The family made their weekly phonecall with Fadıl Şenyaşar who is being held in solitary confinement in Elazıp Prison for the last three years. Mother Emine Şenyaşar could not come to the court house due to her poor health.
Drawing attention to the Justice Watch of the families of prisoners in Diyarbakır and Van, the family wrote the following in Twitter: "We demanded justice for everyone when we first started this sit in. The concept of Justice Watch later spreaded to other cities. Now there is a Justice Watch both in Diyarbakır and Van. We are determined. We will bring justice together."
