ISTANBUL - Our agency's Editor-in-Chief Ferhat Celik, who was detained in Istanbul, was referred to the courthouse.
Ferhat Çelik, the Editor in Chief of the Mezopotamya Agency (MA), who was detained by the police who came to his house in Şişli district last night as part of an investigation initiated by the Antep Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was taken to the Feriköy Police Station. Çelik, who was accused of "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" on the grounds of MA's social media posts, was taken to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan to take his statement at the prosecutor's office.
It is expected that Çelik's statement will be taken over the Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS).
