URFA - Continuing the Justice Watch on its 305th day, Şenyaşar family told that their struggle is a historic test for justice.
Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by the AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives on 14 June 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, are continuing the sit in in front of the Urfa Courthouse. The sit in, launched on March 9, is on its 305th day. Coming in front of the court house early in the morning, Şenyaşar family started the sit in for the day.
The family shared the following message from Twitter tagging Turkish Bar Associations, AKP's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül and Parliamentary Human Rights Investigation Commission: "It is justice that protects the weak against the strong and the poor against the rich. As there are timid prosecutors who cannot hold the strong to account, the mother's tears continue to fall on the scales of justice. This struggle is a historical test for Turkey's justice."
