ŞIRNEX - Ismail Tanboğa, a prisoner in Diyarbakır Type T Closed Prison, has been waiting for surgery for 3 months.
Ismail Tanboğa (23), who was detained and arrested during the curfew declared in 2015 in Silopiya (Silopi) district of Şirnex, was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment 4 times in the case filed against him. Tanboğa is held in Diyarbakır Type T Closed Prison. Tanboğa is diagnosed with stomach cancer shortly after his arrest. In the re-examinations, this time Tanboğa is diagnosed with advanced ulcer and gastritis, and when his pain did not go away despite the medications he used, it was decided to have intestinal surgery.
Tanboğa, who is diagnosed with an obstruction in the urinary tract, has been waiting for surgery for 3 months. Tanboğa, who is fed with formula, can meet his basic needs with the help of his friends.
NOT TREATED
His mother, Kumriye Tanboğa, stated that her son has lost serious weight recently due to his illnesses. Stating that her son has been hospitalized frequently due to his illnesses but has not been treated properly, mother Tanboğa stated that a catheter was inserted due to the problem in his urinary tract, his veins leading to the brain were blocked, but his condition is getting worse day by day because he is not treated.
CANNOT MEET HIS BASIC NEEDS
Saying that the conditions of the prison negatively affected her son's condition, Tanboğa shared that her son's care was taken care of by his friends who are older than him. Tanboğa said: "He can take a shower with the help of his friends, his friends wash his clothes, his friends prepare his food. He is very sad to be in this situation."
"It is enough. We want rights and law" say Tanboğa, demanding for her son to be released so that he can continue his treatment outside.
