Bulent Celik, a Kurdish young man from Hakkari, who settled in Germany 3 years ago due to the political pressure in Turkey, is being held at Frankfurt Airport to be extradited to Turkey.
Reacting to the deportation, Kurdistan Societies Confederation (KON-MED) Co-chair Zübeyde Zümrüt Çelik shared the following: "Recently, Germany has tried to deport a large number of revolutionary Kurds to Turkey. Since yesterday evening, the Kurdish young man named Bülent Çelik who is being held at Frankfurt Airport to be deported to Turkey. His family and relatives are worried. Bülent Çelik was told that he would be forcibly deported to Turkey around noon. His phone was taken from him at Frankfurt airport and he is held incommunicado. He has no lawyer. His family is expecting solidarity for him not to be deported against his will."
