URFA - Continuing their struggle for justice in front of Urfa Courthouse, Emine Şenyaşar stated that the government has no conscience and demanded the cruelty on their family to end.

 

Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by the AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives on June 14, 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, are continuing the sit in in front of the Urfa Courthouse. The sit in, launched on March 9, 2021, is on its 350th day. The mother and son arrived at the courthouse early in the morning and started the sit-in for the day.

 

HOW IS THIS JUSTICE?

 

Underlining that the sit- in continues for almost a year now, Emine Şenyaşar said: "We have been here for four seasons. The government has no conscience. I am wasting away here while my son Fadıl wastes away in prison. This can only be defined as cruelty. End this cruelty. They killed three people from our family and locked one up in prison. How can one kill a person in a hospital? How is Erdoğan protecting these killers? Enoguh is enough. Release my son. I want justice for everyone. The people who destroyed my family are walking free while my son is in prison alone. The nurse who witnessed the murder couldn't take it and got into depression. The doctor resigned. Yıldız is still a member of the parliament."

 

THERE WILL NEVER BE JUSTICE IN TURKEY

 

Stating that the tyranny continues with the hand of the judiciary, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "As long as this mother continues to sit here demanding justice, there will never be justice in Turkey."
