URFA - Witness Mert Y., whose testimony came out 4 years later in the investigation into the murder of 3 members of the Şenyaşar family, said that the crowd shouted, "No one will come out of here alive."
The bodyguards and relatives of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız attacked the Şenyaşar family in their shop in the Suruç district of Urfa on June 14, 2018 while canvassing for local elections and injured Celal, Adil, Mehmet, Fadıl and Ferit Şenyaşar. The relatives of AKP MP Yıldız attacked the family once again in Suruç State Hospital killing the father Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar and Celal and Aydın Şenyaşar in front the hospital staff and government officials. Emine Şenyaşar witnessed the murders of her husband and sons.
The fact that the surveillence camera footage was stolen was revealed with the report of Mesopotamia Agency (MA) on March 3, 2022.
During the lynchings and deaths in the hospital, Urfa Governor Abdullah Erin, Suruç District Governor Tarık Açıkgöz and the then Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba were in the hospital garden. Despite the state officials and high-level security at the hospital, the hospital cameras were damaged, the blood of Esvet Şenyaşar, who was attacked in the hospital, was painted and the evidence was spoiled.
AUTOPSY REPORTS
In the autopsy reports, bullets from 6 different firearms were found on Celal Şenyaşar's body, sharp, puncture and hard object wounds on 14 parts of Adil Şenyaşar's body, and bullet wounds from 17 different guns. It was determined that father Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar was injured in 7 vital parts of his body with sharp objects, and there were non-lethal wounds at 23 points on his body.
SUSPECTS DETAINED 4 YEARS LATER
Within the scope of the investigation file into the massacre that took place in the hospital that has a"confidentiality" decision until April 22, 2022, approximately 4 years later, 10 people including AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's father Osman Yıldız, older brother Celal Yıldız, nephews Osman Şah, Hüseyin Yıldız and his advisor Mustafa Amaç. The elder brother of AKP Yıldız, Celal Yıldız, İbrahim Şimşek, Mikail Şimşek and Müslüm Yıldız, were arrested for "Deliberate killing", "Deliberate injury"and "spoiling evidence".
'NO ONE WILL LEAVE HERE ALIVE'
Mert Y., whose statement was taken as a witness by the prosecutor's office, stated that he heard the attackers shouting "where are the camera rooms" during the attack in the hospital and that a camera was destroyed. Expressing that he saw Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar, who went to the hospital for his children, injured on a stretcher, Mert Y. added that there were traces of blood on the walls of the hospital. Noting that the crowd in the hospital damaged the ambulances carrying the injured and prevented them from being transferred to another hospital, Mert Y. said that the crowd started shouting, "No one will leave here alive."
'STEALING SURVEILLENCE VIDEOS WOULD TAKE AT LEAST AN HOUR'
Another witness Kamil K. told that he went to the hospital with the instruction of the police and could not find anything regarding the surveillence system. Underlining that the glass door of the camera control room was broken when he got there, Kamil K. said: "They removed 400 cameras one by one. 8 DVRs, each of which weighed 10 kilograms, and 3 matrix of 15 kilograms were taken. They took technical equipment that weighs at least 100 kilograms from the window. It would take at least an hour to do all these things."
'A GROUP CONSISTING OF 30 PEOPLE'
Another witness Serkan Ş. said: "I saw an injured person was attacked. We took him to an examination room. We heard gun shots after half an hour coming from inside the hospital. There were a group inside the room that consisted of at least 30 people. They fleed when we got in."
