HAKKARİ- While intense military shipment is made to Hakkari and its districts with both civillian and military vehicles, it was stated that seperate departments for soldiers were established in the hospitals located at the border.
The attack launched by Turkey and KDP against Avaşîn, Zap and Metina in the Federated Kurdistan Region on April 17 continues with intense clashes. From the first day of the attack, helicopter and ambulance activity continues to increase in Hakkari and its districts at the border. While the bodies of the soldiers who lost their lives in the clashes were brought to the large-capacity field hospital established in Ertuş (Uzundere) village of Çukurca, local sources shared the information that mobile morgues were taken to the region.
MEASURES TAKEN AT THE HOSPITALS INCREASED
While it was reported that the number of soldiers who lost their lives and were injured was high, it was stated that the wounded soldiers were taken to hospitals in Hakkari, Çukurca and Yüksekova by helicopter. It was stated that while ambulances were kept waiting at the Yüksekova 1st Gendarmerie Battalion Command, separate departments were established for the soldiers in the hospitals at the border and the precautions there were taken to a higher level.
INTENSE MILITARY SHIPMENT
It was observed that while the mobility of helicopters increased in Yüksekova and Çukurca districts at night, the mobility decreased during daylight hours. It has been learned that in recent days, heavy military shipments have been made from Van to Hakkari by both civilian and military vehicles. It was seen that the military equipment loaded on civilian trucks accompanied by military vehicles was covered with tents.
