URFA - Continuing the Justice Watch for 422 days, Şenyaşar Family will be welcoming guests at their house in Suruç for the Ramadan Holidays.

 

The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 422. The sit-in was launched on  March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Spending the firts two days of the holidays in front of the Urfa Courthouse, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar will be at their house welcoming guests. Represantatives of democratic mass organisation and citizens are expected to visit the family for the Ramadan Holidays.

The family shared the following message from their Twitter account: "The most severe injustice is being done in Urfa right now. We can say there is justice is Turkey when Emine Şenyaşar leaves the tissue she wipes her tears with in front of the courthouse and goes back home. Justice for Şenyaşar family, justice for everyone!"
