The Iraqi Federal Supreme Court will hear the case regarding the dissolution of the Iraqi Parliament on August 30. According to the news in RojNews, the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council decided that it did not have the authority to dissolve the Parliament, and the supporters of Mukteda es-Sadr took action.
The Federal Court had previously postponed the hearing of the request to August 30.
The second round of the "national dialogue" meetings, initiated by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi, was postponed because the Sunnis and KDP stipulated that Sadr should also be represented in the dialogue.
