NEWS CENTER - The silence of the Ministry of Defense continues regarding the soldiers who lost their lives in the clashes in Zap, Avaşîn and Metina and whose identification tags were published.
Turkey's air and ground attacks on Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions of the Federated Kurdistan Region in partnership with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) on April 17 have left their 6th month behind. According to the statements of the Ministry of Defense, a total of 63 soldiers and rangers lost their lives in the clashes that took place in 6 months.
According to the HPG's 6-month balance sheet available in the Fırat News Agency (ANF) today, the number of soldiers who lost their lives is much higher. In the statement, it was stated that 2,346 soldiers and rangers 17 of whom were rank, lost their lives, 10 helicopters were shot down, and the region was bombed 3,491 times with warplanes and 4,197 helicopters. In addition, it was pointed out that the use of chemical weapons, which is considered a crime against humanity all over the world, continues uninterrupted, and it was reported that banned bombs and chemical weapons were used 2,476 times in 6 months. The balance sheet included the information that 153 HPG and YJA-Star members lost their lives.
4 SOLDIER'S IDENTIFICATION TAG IS PUBLISHED
The silence regarding the soldiers, whose names were announced by HPG and stated to have lost their lives in the clashes, continues. In the statement of HPG in the ANF on May 31, it was pointed out that Turkey was hiding its soldier losses and included the names of 4 soldiers who lost their lives in the clash that broke out in Metina on May 29. It was stated that Petty Officer Senior Sergeant Yunus Eylik, Specialized Sergeant Ali Taşkın (Siirt Commando Brigade), Specialized Sergeant Mevlüt Çetin and Specialized Sergeant Ahmet Akpınar were the soldiers who lost their lives. The images of the tags and belongings of Yunus Eylik and Ali Taşkın, who were reported to have died on September 8, were published.
THE BODIES OF SOLDIERS IN THE HANDS OF HPG
In the statement made on July 10, it was stated that 2 soldiers lost their lives in the clash that broke out on July 7 in the Girê Şehid Pîrdoxan area of Girê Amediyê, west of the Zap. In the HPG statement, it was stated that the name of one of the soldiers who lost their lives was Naci Kaygısız and that the body was in their hands. Later, images of Kaygısız's body were published.
10 SOLDIERS' NAMES WERE ANNOUNCED
Similar statements were made in the following process. In the statement dated September 12, it was stated that at least 10 soldiers lost their lives in the clashes that broke out in the Girê Cûdî Area on September 11 in the Zap region. It was recorded that the soldiers who lost their lives were Savaş, Fatih, Gökhan, Serkan, Burak, Naci, Harun, Mert, Oğuz and Fuat. It was also stated that the area where the bodies were located was bombed with warplanes and howitzers.
THE MINISTRY OF DEFENSE ANNOUNCED 4 SOLDIERS
In a statement on September 11, the Ministry of Defense announced that the soldiers named Harun, Savaş, Gökhan and Fatih in the ANF news lost their lives. However, the ministry's statement did not include any information about the other soldiers.
