ISTANBUL - Yeni Yaşam newspaper employee Rojin Altay was released after the prosecution's statement.
Yeni Yaşam newspaper employee Rojin Altay was detained at Sabiha Gökçen Airport on the evening of January 28 as part of an investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Altay, who was detained in the Istanbul Police Department, was transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse 4 days later. Altay, who was charged with "being a member of the PKK", was released on condition of judicial control after her statement to the prosecutor's office.
In her police statement, Altay was asked about the protest actions she attended as well as the press releases, marches and meetings she followed.
