ANKARA - The State of Emergency, which will be valid for 3 months in 10 cities affected by the earthquake, was accepted by the Parliament and entered into force.
Following the 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes in Pazarcık district of Maraş, AKP President Erdoğan declared a State of Emergency (OHAL) that will be effective for 3 months in 10 provinces. The state of emergency decision was started to be discussed in the General Assembly of the Parliament.
The state of emergency was passed despite the objections of opposition parties and entered into force.
