DİYARBAKIR - In the lawsuit filed against Kurdish politician Emine Ayna on the allegation of "making propaganda for a terrorist organization", the prosecutor demanded a penalty.
The 5th hearing of the lawsuit filed against the former Co-Chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Emine Ayna on the allegation of "making propaganda for a terrorist organization" was held at the Diyarbakır 4th High Criminal Court. PENALTY REQUEST
Claiming that Ayna made "propaganda for a terrorist organization" with the speeches she made in the actions, events, commemorations and television programs she attended between 2013 and 2016, when she was the DBP Co-Chair, the prosecutor demanded that Ayna be punished. The prosecutor demanded that the penalty to be imposed, taking into account the impact of Ayna on society, be given by moving away from the lower limit. It was demanded that Ayna be sentenced to imprisonment from 1 to 5 years.
Lawyer Temur requested additional time for the defense against the opinion on the merits. Accepting Temur's request, the court adjourned the hearing to October 5.
