ANKARA - Stating that the campaign of “Majestic resistance against the private war”, Ömer Görünmek from the Green Left Party Youth Assembly said: "The biggest private war is waged in İmralı and the youth will be the subject of the struggle in every field.

The Greens and Left Future Party (Green Left Party) Youth Assembly launched the “Li dijî şerê taybet têkoşînek bi heybet (Majestic resistance against special war)” campaign against special war policies aimed at young people. During the scope of the campaign, the Youth Assembly will fight against drugs, power mentality, ecological pillage, cultural assimilation, and all kinds of ideological devices that corrupt youth and society, especially the isolation of PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Green Left Party Youth Assembly member Ömer Görünmek evaluated the campaign they started. "Private war is a form of war without rules and immoral," said seeming, adding that the aim of the current system with private war is to make the society unconscious as a whole and make it suitable and usable for its own purpose.

THEY WILL TELL THE SPECIAL WAR

Stating that they will fight against efforts to make the Kurdish people unconscious and fit their purpose with their special war policies, Görünmek said: "The state could not achieve results with its policies of destruction and denial, and that it developed special war policies for this purpose, the state has put in place an intense special war concept since 2015. We have started a new campaign against this special concept of war. We will explain to the youth what special warfare is, where the special war zones are, and what young people should do against private warfareWithin the framework of this campaign.”

FIGHTING METHOD WILL BE DISCUSSED

Emphasizing that they will carry out work in every area where the special war is effective, Görümmek said: “We will go from street to street, door to door, house to house because we see the state entering the streets. We will also organize youth meetings, football tournaments and workshops in the future in places where it is tried to be corrupted. In the workshops, we will discuss what a special war is, how the system produces special war policies, and how we can raise awareness of these and how we will fight.”

'IMRALI IS A GALAXY FOR US'

Stating that the biggest private war policy was implemented with isolation against PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Görünmek said: “The main purpose of the special war is to render the society, the people, the youth and women unconscious and usable. There is an attack on the consciousness that Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan has given to the Kurdish people because the state is afraid of this, today it aims to increase such isolation and spread the private war to all areas. Imrali Island can be seen as a gray island surrounded by four walls from the outside, but it is a galaxy, a universe for us because the thoughts coming out of there today frighten the state. Because every word that comes out of the mouth of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan is strong enough to eliminate the private war policy of the state.”

'ATTACK ON THE NEW LIFE PERSPECTIVE'

Underlining that the special war is an attack on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's new life perspective, Görünmek said: “As the Green Left Party Youth Assembly, we will enter every area where there is special war within the scope of this campaign. Today we will sit down with every young person who falls into drugs, prostitution and corrupt life. By starting a new move, it will start to establish its own organized mechanism in the streets. We will regain the streets that the state has entered with drugs, and we will make the people, young people and women a subject of the struggle. We will continue this work on all streets in Türkiye and Kurdistan. We will go to every place where the special war takes place and do awareness raising activities. Because the state carries out a great policy of private warfare and young people are not aware of it. We aim to create this awareness with our work. For example, there are those who make prostitution a way of life. They think it's right, it's normal. We will sit down with a young person and explain that this should not be done. We will raise awareness against drugs again. We will give all the struggle to get rid of drugs. We will sit down with every young person, we will knock on the door of every family. We will make an effort to establish a new and right life against these special war policies.”
