The detention operations launched after the attack on the General Directorate of Security located in the Ministry of Internal Affairs campus on October 1 continued on the 5th day. On October 2, 20 people, including the executives of the People's Democratic Congress (HDK), the People's Democratic Party (HDP) and non-governmental organizations, were detained in Istanbul and Kırklareli. 20 people were referred to the courthouse yesterday. While 16 people were released, Mehmet Akçiçek, Bülent Yıldırım, Umut Kahraman Ezber and Zeynel Azadi were arrested.
OCTOBER 3
On October 3, 55 people were detained in operations carried out in 16 provinces. Most of those detained in the operations carried out in Riha-centered Mêrdin, Amed(Diyarbakır), Dîlok(Gaziantep), Mersin, Şirnex(Şırnak), Istanbul, Bursa, Êlih(Batman), Denizli, Adana, Kayseri, Antalya, Konya, Isparta and Kocaeli were refugees.
20 women who were detained were released after their statements to the police the previous evening. The women were accused of "being members of a terrorist organisation".
While the police operations continued, the number of detentions also increased. A total of 70 people were sent to the courthouse today.
OCTOBER 4
On October 4, 37 people were detained in 15 provinces. It was reported that the detentions took place in Istanbul, Wan, Riha, Elezîz, Düzce, Amed, Bursa, Edirne, Kırklareli, Kilis, Îdir, Hatay, Adana, Mereş and Denizli. It was learned that the detained people were accused of social media posts.
OCTOBER 5
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya announced that 24 people were detained in house raids in Erzirom, Dîlok, Istanbul and Şirnex on October 5.
Northern and Eastern Syrian H.M., who was detained in Semsur on October 5 on the grounds of "being a member of a terrorist organization". The person named was arrested.

Detention operations continued today (October 6). At least 75 people were detained in house raids in İzmir, Eskişehir, Kilis, Kocaeli, Êlih(Batman), Colemêrg(Hakkari), Mêrdîn, Amed(Diyarbakır), Agirî(Ağrı), Bedlîs(Bitlis) and Şirnex(Şırnak).

Altan, HDP Buca District Co-Chair Nihat Türk, Azize Çelik, Şenay Ulusan, Dilan Ulusan, Önsöz Magazine Editor-in-Chief Songül Yücel, Önsöz Magazine editorial board members Sena Şat, Nuran Güven, Muhammed Hizmetçi, Ezgi Yergin, HDP Kocaeli Provincial Co-Chair Aynur Sento, HDP Gebze District Manager Şaziye Zorba, HDP Kartal District Organization Manager Bülent Turan, Fener Günana, Şenay Tüm, Semine Güneş, Abdurrahim Demirkaya, Ahmet Akboğa, Ezgi Akçukur, Veli Akbulut, Ayşe Berktay, Cafer Adsay and Hamdullah Özen.

Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued a detention warrant for 23 people who shared posts on their social media accounts regarding the action against the Ministry of Internal Affairs on October 1. In the statement made by the prosecutor's office, it was claimed that the people in question were making "terrorism propaganda".
