Resistance in Xelfetî on its 12th day

RIHA - The resistance vigil against the appointment of a trustee to the municipality in Xelfetî continues on its 12th day. 

The resistance vigil against the trustee appointment in Xelfetî (Halfeti) district of Riha (Urfa) continues on its 12th day. Citizens who came in front of the blockaded municipality building in the early hours of the morning hung the banner “Democracy, not trusteeship” in the area where the resistance watch continues. 
 
Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) MP Ferit Şenyaşar, Xelfetî Municipality Co-Mayor Mehmet Karayılan and many people participated in the resistance action. 
 
DEM Party Cûrnê Reş (Hilvan), Eyyübiye, Haliliye and Karaköprü district organizations also participated in the vigil in solidarity. The resistance vigil continues in front of the blockaded municipality building.
