Newroz fire lit in Amed

AMED - Newroz fire was lit with great enthusiasm in Amed.  

The celebrations organised under the slogans "Rêbertiya Azad Civaka Demokratîk (Free Leader, Democratic Society)" and "Democratic Society for Freedom" in Newroz Park in Rezan (Baglar) district of Amed (Diyarbakır) continue. Newroz fire was lit in the enthusiastic celebration where hundreds of thousands came together. While the Newroz fire was lit, slogans of "Bijî Serok Apo (Long live Leader Apo)" rose from the area.
 
At the moments when the enthusiasm reached its peak, some citizens lit the fire with their clothes.
