Freedom of Abdullah Öcalan demand at Newroz celebrations

NEWS CENTER - In Newroz celebrations held in many cities, the demand for freedom for Abdullah Öcalan came to the fore. In addition, Ekrem Imamoglu's arrest was met with reaction. 

Newroz celebrations continue today in 19 different centres. In the celebrations organised under the slogans "Rêbertiya Azad Civaka Demokratîk (Free Leader, Democratic Society)" and "Democratic Society for Freedom", the physical freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan was demanded. People also reacted to the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu. 
 
The cities where Newroz celebrations held are as follows: "Ankara, Antalya, Çanakkale, Bursa, Aydın, Denizli, Tekirdağ, Malatya, Eskişehir, Konya, Balıkesir, Rize/Hopa, Muğla/Datça, Hatay/İskenderun, Mereş/Elbistan."
