ANKARA - The HDP made a written statement and said: "The solution to the problems between Israel and Palestine is diplomacy, dialogue and negotiation" and called on the international public opinion to act.
HDP co-chairs Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar issued a written statement on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The statement said: "According to the latest balance sheet announced by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 28 Palestinians, 10 of whom children, were killed and 128 people were injured. We condemn these attacks once again and we express our condolences to the Palestinian people and the relatives of those who lost their lives wishing an urgent recovery to the injured."
Emphasizing that "The parties targeting the civilian settlement areas, it is an effort to turn the tension in the region into a war. We call on the parties to stop the attacks on civilians immediately," HDP said:
"The solution to the historical and current problems between peoples and beliefs in the Middle East is not conflict and war, but diplomacy, dialogue and negotiation.
In order to prevent the growth of the conflict in the region, we call on the international public opinion, especially the United Nations (UN), and institutions and organizations to take an urgent duty in order to end the environment of violence and conflict immediately."
