She waits to return to Afrin after 31 years

IZMIR- Lamia Asu from Efrîn (Afrin) was released from Şakran Women's Closed Prison after 31 years. She is waiting to return to Afrin at Harmandalı Removal Centre after her release. 
 
Lamia Asu was detained in Sêrt on 14 may 1994 and sentenced to life imprisonment and her release was postponed for one year by the Prison Administration and Observation Board. 
 
Lawyer of Lamia Asu, Selahattin Timur, stated that his client is in good health: "The conditions of her accomodation are not good. She has food and hygiene problems as well as communication restrictions. We are waiting for a vehicle. Then the vehicle is arranged, it will be taken to the gate door."
